Young author and illustrator, Titus Bonifacio, is once again back with his book talks and book signings this summer at Barnes and Noble at Mira Mesa Blvd in San Diego. Titus’s last book talk and signing was canceled due to COVID-19 in March of 2020. Since then, he took a break during the pandemic and went to San Francisco last August to begin his first year of college. This time, Titus said, “It is a privilege to meet people again who want to buy my books and to support me with this journey.” Since it’s his summer vacation and the pandemic is in an endemic stage, Titus is excited and grateful for this opportunity so he can continue to inspire kids before heading back to San Francisco for college. In retrospect, he was only ten years old when his first book was published and in fourth grade, his second book was published when he was in middle school, and then followed by his third book when he was in high school. Titus has been a philanthropist since his first book was published. When he has book signings like this one, he always donates more than 50% of the proceeds from book sales to underprivileged children in the Philippines. At this summer’s book signing and book talk event, he will donate proceeds to buy school supplies to support those underprivileged children for their back to school event in the coming month of August. He is always humble and grateful for all our support.
